2 workshops in simple folk dances followed by live music and the chance to use your new skills. No experience necessary. A day to bring all our communities together and have fun. The workshops will be in English with interpreters for Arabic, Kurdish (Kurmanji), Turkish, Urdu and Punjabi. This event is for women and children
A Kurdish-themed evening of music, dancing and food organised by 24:7 Theatre Festival to raise money which will go towards putting on their show ‘The Interpreter, Home.’ The play is by Hekate Papadaki and is about a psychologically damaged Kurdish patient and issues that arise when she is treated in a mental health hospital.
