A song about the River Lea in London

I wrote this song when I lived in Hackney and use to  cycle through Springfield Park to the River Lea to get some peace and quiet, or simply to get to Tottenham avoiding the busy roads. There used to be a run down old pub with outside tables,  where I occasionally stopped for a beer.

Kurdish night at Matt and Phreds

A Kurdish-themed evening of music, dancing and food organised by 24:7 Theatre Festival  to raise money  which will go towards putting on their show ‘The Interpreter, Home.’  The play is by Hekate Papadaki and is about a psychologically damaged Kurdish patient and issues that arise when she is treated in a mental health hospital.
